Hamdi Ahmed, a father in Gaza, is fighting against impossible odds to keep his family safe and healthy. Displaced by war, Hamdi and his family are now living in a tent with his wife’s relatives, with no privacy, no consistent food, and no resources to provide for his children.

Hamdi’s young daughter suffers from severe swollen tonsils and fluid in her ear, causing her difficulty breathing and sleepless nights. She urgently needs surgery, but Gaza’s government clinics are overwhelmed by war injuries, and private medical care is far too expensive. Hamdi has tried antibiotics, but they only provide temporary relief, and her condition is worsening.

Hamdi’s goals are simple and heart-wrenching:

Secure the funds to provide his daughter with the medical care and surgery she urgently needs. Buy food, clothing, and essential winter supplies for his children, who face hunger and the bitter cold. Find a safe and private living space for his family to call home. The challenges in Gaza are immense, but together, we can make a difference in Hamdi’s life.
