My name is Hind. I am 24 years old. My family and I lived in central Gaza, but our home was destroyed in the war.
Now, we have nothing. No home, no food, no basic necessities. We are struggling to survive. Currently, $300 a week is needed for food, water and mother’s medication.
My family consists of nine people: me, my father, my mother, five sisters and one brother. My mother has become chronically ill and requires continuous medication, while my father is completely worn out by the horrors of the war. Meanwhile I am left to care for my seven siblings alone.
We are living in a tent, enduring scorching heat in the summer and freezing cold in the winter. Every day is a fight for survival.
Before the war, we were already living in poverty, but now, our situation is unimaginable. The little savings we had are gone, and I can no longer even afford the flour to bake bread to sell.
We are at our breaking point. My family is hungry, cold, and hopeless.
Please, I beg you—any donation, no matter how small, could be the lifeline that saves us.
