Hello! My name is Mud McGuire, I am fundraising for my friend Reham Alrozzi in Gaza.

Reham and her husband Mahmoud are parents to four beautiful children, Alma, Toleen, Salma, and baby Fadi. Mahmoud is a press photographer.

The Alrozzi family is from Northern Gaza and have been displaced to Khan Yunis. They have been displaced 6 times since October 7th 2023.

Food has become very expensive in Gaza, Reham and her family need support so that they can feed their children. This family has also had to deal with medical expenses because the situation is so unsafe, such as baby Fadi having food poisoning.

Hello everyone! Thank you again for your support to my dear friends the Alrozzi family!

The situation in Gaza is horrific. The bombings have increased again and there is a lot of uncertainty of what may happen next. Reham and Manmoud recently received a phone call from the occupation’s army telling the family to evacuate the building they are living in, but with no where to go and little energy left in their bodies, the Alrozzi family has made the very difficult decision to remain where they are. God-willing there will be an end to these horrors and our dear friends will have peace and comfort soon.

Thankfully, due to international pressure, there has been more aid let in to Gaza. There is much more food and basic necessities available in the markets, making everything much more affordable. In addition to this, there are a few stores that now accept use of the Bank of Palestine app to transfer money directly without the need to have physical cash. This will help our friends keep much more of the money they receive from donations because the fees to withdraw cash are extremely high. Now is an excellent time to support our friends with any donation amount that you can spare! If you can’t donate, please share this fundraiser with as many people as possible!

Unfortunately, since the “ceasefire” has been broken, things have gotten much more terrifying for the Alrozzi family. The bombing does not stop. The Alrozzi family, like many people in Gaza right now, live in an area that has been told to evacuate, but there is simply nowhere that is safe. After leaving their relatives’ home and facing their seventh displacement, they have made the very difficult decision to return. It is unfathomably cruel that they must live under these horrific conditions. It is hard to imagine how this resilient family manages to keep smiles on their children’s faces. They are the most beautiful souls and I love them dearly.

Unfortunately, Reham’s phone has been stolen. It is frustrating for many reasons, one being that it is now much harder for the family to promote this fundraiser. For this reason, I ask you to please share this fundraiser with as many people as you can! Hello everyone! Thank you so much for all of your support as always!

Since the ceasefire, the Alrozzi family has made their way back to Northern Gaza. It was an exhausting journey by foot as they could not afford a car. Baby Fadi and Salma struggled greatly with their return. The weather has been very wet and cold, adding to their suffering.

Unfortunately their home was destroyed by the IOF and so the family is staying with relatives in Northern Gaza. Their current living space is high up in a building with many stories and with no electricity, they must use the stairs every time they leave and return.

Conditions in the North are extremely difficult. There is no access to water and there is so much rubble that walking through the streets is exhausting work, especially for baby Fadi and young Salma.

On top of the struggles for water, food, medicine, etc, the uncertainty of the future of their lives weighs heavily on my dear friend Reham. Any donation big or small helps to give this family hope for their future.

It is a life full of immense suffering and exhaustion. Reham and Mahmoud are amazing parents who have managed to keep their children smiling. I hope that we can continue to support this beautiful family until they are free, safe, and secure!
