Peace be upon you and God’s mercy and blessings, we are the Taramsi family.

We are a family of seven. I am linda the wife of Osama. Osama suffers from asthma and mental health issues. We live in the Beit Lahia Project area. During the siege, my son Mohammed went out to search for something for us to eat. A helicopter dropped a bomb on him, injuring his hand (requiring a platinum implant) as well as his head and back. It has been a month and a half, and his treatment is still unavailable. He cannot sleep at night because of the pain, cold, and freezing temperatures.

A week after his injury, heavy bombing started around us. We were living in our home, which had no doors or windows, and narrowly escaped death. We had no choice but to flee due to the intense shelling, moving west of Gaza with no clothes, food, bedding, or shelter.

Now, we are displaced and staying with acquaintances. My married daughter Raneen, who fled with us, got married during the war. Her home and all her belongings were destroyed in the bombing. She didn’t even get to experience the joy of her marriage, and her situation is extremely difficult.
