Sameh, his wife Amani, and their baby daughter Eileen have been through unimaginable hardship. They’ve lost nearly everything in the chaos surrounding them. Sameh and Amani have endured loss after loss, including their two sons—Wissam and Mohammed—who passed far too young, taken by circumstances no parent should ever face.
Now, with just Eileen in their arms, they are doing everything possible to keep her safe. Sameh and Amani’s lives are a daily fight for survival. Food, water, and basic supplies are scarce and have become so expensive that even the smallest needs feel out of reach. Despite the odds, they’ve remained resilient, but their strength is stretched thin as winter bears down on them.
My name is Muranda, and I organized this fundraiser to help Sameh and his family survive the harsh realities of day-to-day life. The funds raised here will go directly to supporting them—covering the cost of essentials like food, water, and winter supplies. These are the basics they need to keep going, to keep Eileen safe and warm.
If there’s anything left over after their immediate needs are met, it will go toward a long-term goal: helping them start over in a new place, free from the fear and instability they’ve been living with for far too long.
