Help Islam and Her Family Survive in Gaza

This is the new fundraising campaign for Islam and her family. Their previous campaign on GFM was shut down.
Islam is a 22 year old nurse who volunteered at the European Hospital in Gaza at the beginning of the genocide. Her family consists of two sisters and 5 nieces and nephews, her mother who suffers from chronic illness, and her elderly father.
At the beginning of the war, her family was displaced from their house in Khan Younis. When they returned, they found that it had been burned and, a few days later, it was completely destroyed leaving them homeless without clothes or bedding.
They collected wood and plastic sheets from the street to make this small shelter. They suffered from extreme cold at night and extreme heat during the day.
After a while, they were informed by the occupation that they had to evacuate again. So they walked, with great difficulty, to a “safe area” because transportation costs are so high. In total they have been displaced 5 times.
During this period, Islam got hepatitis from contaminated water and food. Her nephew was injured by shrapnel from an explosion with the wounds on his hand and eye becoming infected due to lack of proper care.
Most recently, Islam’s mother was shot in the leg when their tent was struck by gunfire. The bullet went through the edge of her femur and she underwent orthopedic surgery. The children are extremely traumatized, the tent has been damaged and money has run out after buying her mom painkillers, antibiotics, and medicine for her injury.
