“I’m Asaad, a Palestinian born in the Gaza Strip in 2003… During my childhood, I didn’t know the meaning of freedom as others did; instead, I only knew borders, closed crossings, and war planes that never left our skies. I grew up amid recurring wars.” This project is to support the photographer, Asaad Nateel, through celebrating his amazing photography and inspirational narrative. This independent zine was published by a group of dedicated activists across the world who wanted to bring Asaad’s work to life.
