Urgent Support Needed for Displaced Families in North Lebanon and Akkar
Hi Friends and family – please help me raise money for Lebanese friends and loved ones displaced to the North of Lebanon and Akkar Region due to Israeli aggression and bombing against Lebanese civilians. This money will be going directly to my friend Fatima, with whom I studied at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. Fatima currently works to facilitate aid to displaced Lebanese citizens in different parts of Eastern Lebanon.
Many families in North Lebanon and Akkar are facing unimaginable hardship after watching their homes, neighborhoods, life savings, livelihoods, and loved ones bombed. Thousands from many areas in Lebanon have been displaced into the North, leaving behind their homes and now without access to basic necessities.
I am reaching out to seek your support in providing immediate relief to those affected. Your contribution can help supply food, water, medical assistance, and shelter to the most vulnerable families who are displaced and in desperate need. Donations will directly support emergency housing, healthcare, and educational resources for children.
With our support, Fatima will be able to extend support further to families with children in the North of Lebanon who are in dire need of medical support, housing, food, water, winter clothing, and more. I have direct confirmation and communication with the families that this fundraiser will support. For their privacy and safety, we will not be naming individual family members.
I will collect funds through this fundraiser and make a direct transfer to Fatima, who has a network of organizers on the ground in North Lebanon that have already run assessments on which families are in the most need, and what support they need most urgently. Every dollar raised counts – please consider contributing no matter how small. Every single cent will be transferred directly to Fatima and used immediately for emergency support for displaced families in need.
