Hello, I am Ahmad Salem from Gaza. I share with you my story and my sadness about what happened to me and my family. I did everything I could since my childhood to provide them with a beautiful home, a home that I built step by step and went through a lot to make it the most beautiful home. I exhausted everything I could just for a happy life like any family living in the world. But in a moment and without any prior warning, in this war on Gaza I lost everything.

I lost my memories and my beautiful home, my photography equipment and the clothes and toys of my little girl who was not yet a year old. The impact of the loss on my heart was great because everything I lost meant a lot to me. It was not just a home. It was full of love, comfort and a happy family.

My baby’s clothes and toys were not simple things. My joy for my daughter made me bring every toy and piece of clothing to her with all the love and beautiful memories that my wife and I create. Everything I lost is full of memories, and memories are priceless.

I say to everyone who reads: I have lost my most beautiful memories and their record continues to pass through my imagination with great pain and suffering inside my heart. Now my family and I are sleeping on the ground in tents, and we have become homeless. We suffer from the harsh cold, hunger and severe illness. The most severe suffering is to see my little girl not living her childhood in her comfortable bed, not wearing the most beautiful clothes and owning the most beautiful toys. We have come to live in a world that is not familiar at all.

No matter how much I write or explain, I would not be able to describe the pain, destruction, and devastation that controls our hearts. My word to everyone who reads my message, truly… the pictures and videos spread across social media only describe a little of what we are suffering and facing. All the letters and words are truly incapable of describing it.

I put in your hands a small amount for those who wanted to help complete it, believe me that this amount will not be enough for what I lost and the difficult conditions we live in from the high cost of living and the exorbitant rise in prices, but it will contribute to supporting a family that suffered from war and lost what it lost.

مرحبا، أنا أحمد سالم من غزة، أشارككم قصتي وما يدور في ذهني ومشاعري الحزينة لما حدث لي ولعائلتي، والتي فعلت كل ما بوسعي منذ طفولتي لتزويدها بمنزل جميل، منزلي الذي بنيته خطوة بخطوة وعانيت كثيرا لرؤيته أجمل منزل واستنفدت كل ما بوسعي فقط من أجل حياة سعيدة مثل أي عائلة تعيش في العالم، وفي لحظة وبدون أي سابق انذار في هذه الحرب على غزة فقدت كل شيء، فقدت ذكرياتي ومنزلي الجميل، معداتي في التصوير وملابس وألعاب طفلتي الصغيرة التي لم تبلغ من العمر عام، كان أثر الفقد على قلبي كبير فكل ما فقدته يعني لي بالكثير فلم يكن مجرد بيت بل كان احتواء وحب وراحة وعائلة سعيدة.

لم تكن ملابس وألعاب طفلتي شيء بسيط ففرحتي الأولى بطفلتي جعلت كل قطعة من ملابسها وألعابها أجلبها لها بكل حب وذكرى جميلة نصنعها أنا وزوجتي، كل شيء فقدته مليء بالذكريات والذكريات لا تقدر بثمن.

أقولها لكل من يقرأ أنا فقدت أجمل ذكرياتي وبقي شريطها يمر على مخيلتي بوجع وألم كبير داخل قلبي، الآن أنا وعائلتي ننام على الأرض في الخيام وأصبحنا مشردين، نعاني من قسوة البرد والجوع وشدة المرض وأشد ما أعاني أن أرى طفلتي الصغيرة لا تعيش طفولتها في سريرها المريح ومرتدية أجمل الملابس وتمتلك أجمل الألعاب، أصبحنا نعيش في عالم لا يشبهنا تماماً.

مهما كتبت ولو شرحت وتحدثت بالكثير لن أوصف الوجع والدمار والحطام المسيطر على قلوبنا، وكلمتي لكل من يقرأ رسالتي، حقاً.. الصور والفيديوهات المنتشرة عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي لا توصف الا القليل مما نعانيه ونواجهه، كل الحروف والكلمات عاجزة حقاً عن الوصف.

بدعمكم ومساعدتكم لي ووقوفكم بجانبي سوف أرجع لبناء حياتي ومستقبل أسرتي من جديد.
