Help Baby Magdi Survive Gaza’s Famine: He Needs Food and Safety
United Kingdom
Dear friends, kind hearts, and anyone reading this,
My name is Nidal M. Alkafarna, I’m 29 years old and a father from Gaza. Today, I write to you not just as a parent, but as someone who is trying with everything in him to save his newborn son, Magdi.
Magdi was born just days after October 7, 2023—into a world already torn apart by war. From the moment he arrived, we’ve been surrounded by destruction, fear, and loss. Our home was destroyed, and both my wife and I lost our jobs. My wife, Mais, is a computer engineer. I used to work as a manager for a Saudi company. Today, we are displaced, living in the open near the beach, with no steady shelter, no income, and barely any food.
But now, things are even worse.
Gaza is Starving. Children Are Dying of Hunger. We are living through a real famine. There is no access to proper food. There is no clean water. For our baby Magdi, we can’t even find milk or diapers. When we do, the prices are unbearably high—often 10 or 20 times what they used to be.
Every night, my wife rocks Magdi to sleep, whispering prayers. Every morning, we search for ways to feed him. Sometimes we fail.
We Are Asking for Your Help to Keep Our Baby Alive Your donation—no matter how small—can help us buy:
Baby formula and milk
Diapers and basic hygiene items
Food and clean water
Emergency supplies to survive the coming days
If we can raise enough, we also dream of leaving Gaza for somewhere safe—Egypt, the UAE, or anywhere Magdi can grow up healthy, far from war.
How You Can Help: ✅ Donate whatever you can—$5, $10, $50—it all counts ✅ Share our story with friends, family, and on social media ✅ Be the reason one more baby survives this war
We know there are many tragedies in the world right now, but if this message reaches you—please know that your kindness can save a life. My son is just a baby. He deserves the chance to live.
From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping.
With love and hope,
John Robinson
