Hello, I am Hammam Al-Khodari, I am from the northern Gaza Strip. Despite my shame, I am writing this letter and appealing after hesitation and confusion.
Fear forced me to tell you that I had been living a genocide war for over 9 months. I often stayed with my family after the destruction of our house and the martyrdom of my relatives, where we suffered from hunger, poverty and lack of minimum necessities of life, and fled to many places. I am still afraid to lose any member of my family during the journey of displacement and suffering. There is no safety anywhere in Gaza. We have lost everything, our health, our dreams, our future, our normal life. I have never expected in my whole life to ask for something like this or financial help from anyone, but the current situation is catastrophic and crazy, as my family and I need this money to escape this nightmare and cross the border at a cost of about $40,000 in lives. Now I have no options so I created a GoFundMe link to your humanity to support me and my family to survive
This fundraising campaign is my last resort to help us escape the war and reunite it with the family, and finally I collect these donations to escape with my family from this war and try to reach safety
