Help siblings Nahed and Raneen help their family survive the Gaza genocide
Austria
This is a fund raising campaign for siblings Raneen and Nahed Kotkot to help their family survive the genocide in Gaza. We are a group of volunteers who are assisting the family, 100% of the proceeds will go to them.
We are in contact with Nahed and Raneen daily and they share what is happening on the ground. They have become close friends!
Urgent Need – $5000: To buy blankets, warm clothes and food for the family of ten.
Continued Sustenance and Survival – $15,000: For healthcare needs for the new baby girl and mother, Fidaa and essentials for the family to survive the genocide.
Evacuation – $50,000: To evacuate to Egypt ($5000 per person charged by the Egyptian company Hala)
Iyad, the father is 52 years old. He used to sell “natural carob juice” and offered the best drink in the neighborhood. Nemat, the mother is 45 years old, she has invested her life in raising the family. Both Iyad and Nemat have endured a lot, having to bury three of their six children and now trying to support the family through a genocide.
In 2013, Majed their second son was killed by a group of thieves at the age of just 20. With Majed’s death, Iyad lost his helper and business partner.
Mohammed, their oldest son was killed this year. He leaves behind four young children and his wife, Fidaa.
Ahmad, their third son was also killed this year. During the war he had a severe leg injury leg and had to undergo surgery to have a metal implant placed. He couldn’t walk for over three months. When Ahmad recovered, he decided to start a fundraising campaign for his family. He arranged with them to take some photos, but just one day before he could do that, he was struck by a missile from the occupation forces.
Raneen is the only daughter. She has a great sense of humor and despite the difficult circumstances tries to keep the family in positive spirits.
Nahed, is trying every possible way to help his family and provide for their daily needs. He must now take responsibility, as he has become the eldest son of his parents after the departure of his three older brothers.
Ali, the youngest is unable to go to school and study. He wshes to continue his education.
Our goal is to assist the family in collecting donations and fill the gap left by Majed, Mohammad, and Ahmad.
Thank you for considering.
