Help Wesam’s Family Rebuild Their Home

We’re a group of volunteers based in the United States. We’re organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Wesam and his family in Gaza. Wesam’s old campaign entails considerable transaction fees, so he’s decided to start a new page on Chuffed.

Update on 07/8/25:

Wesam will celebrate his 17th birthday this month in Gaza. He is still living in an extremely challenging situation. Let’s show him some more support and kindness!!

Update on 03/20/25:

Wesam’s latest message: “I need to collect approximately 3000 because the crossings are closed for a long time and the food will remain expensive because if people stop helping me for a period of time I will have some money that I can live in.” Now Israel has initiated another round of invasion again, Wesam and his family need your help more than ever. Please continue to share, donate, and support this campaign!

Update on 01/30:

With the ceasefire order in place, Wesam and his family are temporarily safe. However, they still need your support to rebuild their destroyed home and restore the life they once had. The goal of this campaign has been adjusted to $50,000 for this very reason. Please continue to show your support by sharing and donating to their campaign!

Update on 12/02:

Wesam and his family want to reach the $30000 goal within the next month to prepare for the winter. Please continue to show your support for them!

Update on 10/24:

Thanks to everyone who supported Wesam’s campaign and helped him achieve the $1500 goal! He was able to repair the roof of his house and purchase some power units. As winter is fast approaching now, his family needs to get prepared for the inclement weather. One jacket can cost up to $120 in Gaza, and each family member needs at least 2-3 jackets for the entire winter. There is an additional roof in the house that they need to repair, and the cost is around $2000. Please continue to donate, share, and support Wesam’s campaign!

Wesam’s family is in danger of another round of evacuation again. They need to raise $1500 by Oct 10th. Please donate & share to help him achieve this goal!

My name is Wesam mezhir. I live in Gaza, Nuseirat. I am 16 years old. My family consists of 6 members, my father, my mother, 3 of my brothers, and one sister. I’m a football player at Champions Club. my dream was to travel and play international tournaments with the club. On the 7 of October, my dreams and ambitions were destroyed, my family’s home was destroyed, we became homeless, and my father and my older brother, Tariq, were injured.

June 8th Update
