My Childhood:
I was born in a small and beautiful village called Nariaghan Zirak in the district of Jaghuri, Ghazni province, Afghanistan, on May 1, 1984. As the eldest son of the family, after my father died in 2010, I took on the responsibility of providing for my mother, sisters, and brothers. Two of my sisters worked as employees in the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Afghanistan after completing their studies in Afghanistan and Turkey. However, due to the current situation, they are both staying at home. My second brother, along with my mother and the rest of the family, is in Jaghuri, facing economic difficulties.
I was born into a farming and landowning family, where my father worked as a farmer and my mother was a homemaker.
The village we lived in was predominantly Hazara, surrounded by Pashtuns with extremist religious views, which was concerning for us. Due to the warnings and sense of danger in the area, I left and worked for a while in northern Afghanistan with the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development as a social worker. Hazara people are easily identifiable by their distinct language, customs, clothing styles, and facial features wherever they go. After working for the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development for three years, I found myself again at risk of being killed by Taliban extremists and the local situation.
I was directly and indirectly targeted multiple times until January 2015 when our vehicle was kidnapped by the Taliban and their associates. All our documents (laptop, mobile phone, camera, and project files) were taken by this group, and they sentenced us to death. Surprisingly, we were rescued by the Afghan National Army that night.
As living conditions became increasingly difficult in Afghanistan, after two weeks, I arrived in Indonesia with my wife. Since early February 2015, we have been living in the Bogor area of Indonesia.
During this time, I became a father to a son named Erham Akbari, born on May 6, 2018.
I have been actively involved with the migrant community during this time and have cooperated honestly without any hesitation.
From December 2019 to June 2022, I worked as a financial officer at HLC, and from October 2022 until now, I have been working with the children’s centre in Cisarua, Bogor, which Cared the Displaced Children. As I have time and energy, I want to work on improving my English language skills and aim to enrol in a language school(British Council Indonesia) in Jakarta, Indonesia. Since I do not have permission to work or engage in any economic activities in Indonesia, I need to cover the expenses for language school, transportation, and accommodation through fundraising, and I believe that my friends and those who have always supported me will help me. So that I can overcome this problem and contribute to a better future for society and my people.
my budget for English class is total Rp 38,313,000.00
