We are thrilled to share that our dear friend and colleague SA has been granted a visa to move to France.
For those of you who know, SA has been on the run, along with his wife and three children, for over two years now. So this email from the French Embassy was such a welcomed development to all of who know him and his beautiful family. For others, we want to share just how deserving this family is of this rare opportunity.
SA has worked dedicatedly, and with utmost loyalty, for the betterment and development of Afghanistan. In various capacities, and across sectors, SA made a tangible difference with his work in strengthening democracy and upholding human rights. But more importantly, he was known for the brave stance he took against corruption and radicalism in the country, which made him a target of many groups, including the Taliban.
