As of Monday 28 February, over 360,000 Ukrainian refugees have left the country since Russia began its invasion on Thursday, according to the UN. Most, estimated at this time as 200,000 have fled to Poland, which is welcoming Ukrainians with open arms, saying it will take in as “many as there will be at our border”. We all know that the country is not yet sufficiently equipped to handle the volume of refugees that are likely to arrive on the borders in the coming weeks, on a large scale and on a prolonged basis.

That’s why Polish colleagues from Kantar would like to invite you to join crowdfunding campaign that is meant to be a symbol of solidarity with Ukraine and is simultaneously meant to provide specific aid to those in need. We do not know how the situation is going to escalate in the days to come, but one thing is sure – even now, our help can change the fate of Ukrainians (and importantly also non-Ukrainians who work and study in Ukraine) fleeing for safety.

In order to provide the best aid available, ALL FUNDS collected will be given to a Polish organization providing humanitarian aid – https://crm.ocalenie.org.pl. This is one of the oldest Polish NGOs with huge amount of experience in helping refugees settle in Poland people working there know best what kind of exact aid refugees will need in this difficult time. Their credo is also All Refugees welcome, which is crucial in ensuring that there is fairness and care taken of all refugees coming from Ukraine.

We also need to remember that this is marathon not a sprint. For months to come refugees will need help finding longer term accommodation, learn the language and settle in Poland. Help us make this possible.

To give an idea of what your donation could provide:

We will be arranging few activities in our business in the upcoming weeks, hoping to get your attention and encourage your involvement. Every donation is a gesture of support and solidarity with those impacted by the invasion.
