Laptop Drive for Afghan Interpreters

0 out of 5 based on 0 customer ratings

Canada

Since August of 2021, Afghan Interpreters and their families have begun restarting their new lives across Canada, particularly in the province of Ontario. However, many still lack barriers to employment, immigration, and education, particularly due to a shortage of digital devices such as laptops, tablets, and cell phones. This initiative seeks to procure a minimum of five laptops (with relevant & up to date operating systems) for ten families in the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, and Thunder Bay so that they can access resources and services many of us take for granted.

For over 20 years, Afghan Interpreters have supported Canadian military operations and diplomatic missions in Afghanistan. We as Canadians owe them a tremendous debt for keeping our servicemen and women safe overseas, and we hope to equip them with the necessary tools and skills to pursue their greatest ambitions in Canada.
