We’ve all heard about the plight of unaccompanied refugee children, stuck in Calais. While they wait to find out where their next home will be, you can provide them with some temporary safety and warmth by sponsoring us. £400 will buy one caravan and get it to the children in Calais.
In collaboration with Jungle Canopy, we will use sponsorship money to buy caravans, which will be towed to Calais to provide a home for unaccompanied children. Please check out Jungle Canopy’s website, to see what they’ve already achieved.
By sponsoring Herts for Refugees, you’ll be helping refugees get the support and respect they deserve. Most recently, in March, we raised £2,610 to build the roof of a school and children’s centre for the new Dunkirk refugee camp.
Since we began in September 2015, we have organised the collection and distribution of clothing, tents, sleeping bags and blankets to provide warmth and shelter to hundreds of refugees in Northern France.
