MOSAAB’S TESTIMONY

– We were seven in one home — my elderly parents, my three teenage siblings, my youngest brother who is still a child, and me. We had a roof over our heads, walls that held our memories, and a place where we could gather each night despite the hardships, genocide and deliberate starvation

Then, in a single moment, everything was gone. An Israeli airstrike turned our home into rubble. The life we knew was buried under dust and broken stones.

We survived the blast, but we did not survive as a family together. Our home is gone, and now we are scattered — each of us sleeping in different tents we can barely afford. We are apart in the moments we need each other most.

The days are long and merciless. The sun burns above us, and the air is dry and heavy. Inside the tents, the heat and insects become unbearable, but there is nowhere else to go. Hunger gnaws at us constantly. Sometimes we go the entire day without a single meal. My youngest brother cries from exhaustion and hunger, and I have no answer for him — no promise I can keep.

This is not just war. This is slow, deliberate suffering. The siege leaves us with no food, no clean water, no safety. We cannot rebuild. We cannot find stability. Each day feels like we are being erased, piece by piece.

I am reaching out because I have nowhere else to turn. Your help could mean a meal when we have none. It could mean shelter that keeps us safe from the burning heat. It could mean my family reunited under one roof instead of being torn apart by distance and misery.

Please, if you are reading this, know that your kindness could be the reason we survive. We have lost our home. We are losing our strength. We are running out of time.
