Hello, my name is Lucien Gargam, I live in France. I have known Zolfa (Ghazal’s mother) for a while now and am making this donation link so she can afford to pay for her daughter’s medical needs as well as food and other necessities for her family. Below is a message from her about their situation and needs, thank you for taking the time to read.

The goal has been set at 5000 for now but we will increase as the fundraiser progresses as the funds will be used continously since they are needed continuously.

My name is Zolfa Jamil El-Sharif, and I am a mother of four children. Like many families in Gaza, my life and the lives of my children have been deeply impacted by the ongoing conflict. I’m writing today to share our situation and to ask for your support in securing urgent medical care for my youngest daughter, Ghazal. Ghazal was born during the war. At just a few weeks old, she experienced severe respiratory distress due to the instability in our surroundings, which led to oxygen deprivation. This resulted in a lack of oxygen flow to her brain, causing serious developmental challenges. She is currently underweight, fatigued, and experiencing profound physical limitations. She cannot carry out even the simplest of movements and depends entirely on others for care. Since her condition was diagnosed, I have been trying to secure the necessary care for her. Medical professionals have advised intensive and ongoing physical therapy, occupational therapy, and a specific regimen of neurological medications. However, many of these treatments and medications are unavailable in Gaza, and obtaining them through other means has proven extremely difficult. I have explored every possible option to transfer her abroad for specialized treatment, but all efforts have unfortunately failed. The situation is compounded by our living conditions. Before the conflict intensified, my family had just finished building our home. It represented stability and safety for us, somethings every parent hopes to provide for their children. However, during the war, our neighborhood came under direct threat. Our home was significantly damaged by nearby shelling, forcing us to leave immediately. We moved from one area to another, eventually returning to find that nothing remained. Everything we had built, quite literally stone by stone, was gone. Currently, my children Mohammed, Atta, Jamil (our youngest son), and Ghazal and I are without a permanent home. We’ve been staying in temporary shelters, constantly adjusting to new, unstable environments. In addition to Ghazal’s medical needs, we are also trying to meet basic necessities like food, safe shelter, and clothing. The constant displacement has placed an additional strain on our ability to access consistent care and maintain any sense of normalcy. I am launching this fundraising campaign to support the following critical needs: Access to consistent and intensive physical and occupational therapy for Ghazal Procurement of her specialized medications for neurological care Medical equipment and mobility support to improve her daily quality of life Basic essentials for our family as we continue to navigate this crisis without a home At this stage, any assistance financial or in the form of sharing our story would be greatly appreciated. Your support would help create a path toward better care for Ghazal and bring some stability to our family during this uncertain time. While we understand the challenges many people face globally, we believe in the power of collective compassion. Every donation, no matter the amount, can directly contribute to providing Ghazal with the treatments she needs. We remain hopeful that with support from people around the world, we can give her a chance at improved mobility, comfort, and life quality. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can express
