Tajani Al-Mahi Hospital — Sudan’s only specialized psychiatric facility — has been completely destroyed by war in Khartoum. Once a sanctuary for thousands suffering from trauma, mental illness, and medical emergencies, the hospital now lies in ruins.

We are launching this urgent campaign to rebuild and restore the hospital’s infrastructure, re-equip medical units, and bring back life-saving care.

What’s Happening in Sudan The war in Sudan has pushed the healthcare system to the brink of collapse. Tajani Al-Mahi Hospital — a critical hub for mental health and general medical care — was shut down after being looted and destroyed during the fighting.

This facility once served:

Over 40,000 patients annually Provided emergency and psychiatric care Was a lifeline for displaced and trauma-affected civilians Now, thousands suffer without access to any care. PTSD, psychosis, injuries, and trauma go untreated. The only psychiatric hospital in the nation is gone.

Our Mission We are raising $250,000 to rebuild Tajani Al-Mahi Hospital and bring back critical services.

With your support, we will:

Reconstruct the hospital’s emergency and mental health wards ️ Provide hospital beds, diagnostic equipment, and basic furnishings Restock medications — including psychiatric and emergency drugs Restore electricity, water, and medical oxygen supply Enable doctors, nurses, and trauma counselors to return to work All funds will go directly to the hospital through verified local networks and partner organizations on the ground.
