My name is Claire, and I’m launching this urgent appeal on behalf of a brave mother in Gaza—Alia Hassan . Alia is a mother of seven children, the youngest being a 10-day-old baby girl named Suad, who is severely malnourished and living in desperate conditions.

Alia reached out to us in heartbreak. She is sheltering in a tent in Nuseirat (south Gaza) after her home was bombed. Her husband is a war victim, unable to walk due to his injuries, and Alia herself is sick and unable to breastfeed or provide food for her children.

“Please save my baby,” she said. “I don’t have milk, and my baby is drinking only water.”

Alia has no income, no stable shelter, and no access to baby formula or basic food. Her children go to sleep hungry, and her newborn daughter is at risk of starvation. Despite her pain and struggles, Alia continues to fight for her children’s survival every single day.

Situation:

Lives in a tent in Nuseirat after her home was destroyed. No access to food, water, or medical aid. Her infant is dangerously undernourished. She is a mother to 7 children, and all are suffering in silence.
