On 26th October we are planning to run the Irish Life Dublin Marathon in aid of The Sameer Project (IG: @thesameerproject)

We have run many miles together and crossed a few finish lines but being Róisín’s first marathon and Becky’s third, this will be our biggest joint challenge yet. However, as we worry about fitting long runs into busy schedules and deciding what running shoes to buy, we are very aware of what a privilege this sort of challenge is. People in Palestine are living through an unimaginable crisis, without access to enough food, clean water, shelter or medical care. The Sameer Project is a grassroots intiative delivering urgent, life-saving aid to people in North Gaza including food, water, baby essentials and medical supplies. We want to support them in any way that we can.

If you have a few quid to spare between now & the end of October – no matter the amount – it will be used to provide essential aid to those who need it most.
