Sudan is in crisis. Women and families are facing immense challenges as conflict and displacement disrupt their lives. Many are now at risk—not just from violence, but from the dire consequences of their circumstances.

At Bridge to Home, our mission has always been to support survivors of trauma with dignity, safety, and healing. Today, we are urgently turning our attention to the needs of women refugees in Sudan.

Founder & Executive Director (she/her) A global advocate for refugee rights with over a decade of experience in trauma recovery, Mohaj oversees all programs, partnerships, and strategic growth initiatives.

Program Manager Coordinates the implementation of field programs, supervises caseworkers, and ensures timely delivery of core services.

Program Coordinator Handles intake and case assessments, manages resource allocation, and supports community outreach across multiple regions.

Assistant Manager Manages internal logistics, schedules, volunteer engagement, and backend systems for reporting and documentation.

Operations Manager Leads budget planning, procurement, and vendor management to ensure smooth operational workflows across all field offices.

Psychotherapist Delivers trauma counseling, mental health assessments, and culturally appropriate therapy sessions, including crisis intervention and group work. The Crisis

Women and families in Sudan are facing a devastating situation exacerbated by conflict and displacement. Makeshift camps, overcrowded urban shelters, and bombed-out towns have become unsafe havens for those fleeing violence.

Many women and children are suffering from malnutrition and lack of basic necessities. Access to healthcare is severely limited, with clinics overwhelmed or destroyed. Resources like clean water, food, and medical supplies are running dangerously low.

This is not just a humanitarian crisis,it’s a race against time to support those in need.

Our Response Bridge to Home is mobilizing a humanitarian response focused on supporting women and families affected by conflict and displacement in Sudan. With local partners and trusted contacts inside the country, we are working to deliver essential supplies to the hardest-hit regions—swiftly and effectively.

212 families transitioned from displacement to safe housing

5,700+ medical and mental health appointments facilitated

1,500+ students enrolled in ESL, vocational, or school readiness programs

⚖️ 950 refugees assisted with legal status, asylum, or resettlement

1,100 trauma therapy sessions delivered through culturally competent care

160 individuals placed in jobs or internships after completing training

80 local partners engaged across 5 countries
