Hello, my name is Jana. I am a Palestinian girl, 8 years old. My father used to call me “the little star” because he believed that one day, I would light up the world with my art. I loved to draw—pictures of life as I wished it to be… full of colors, peace, and laughter.But my life changed suddenly. One painful day, I lost my father in the war. He left this world and left an empty space in my heart. Yet I still hear his voice in my ear, saying: “You are my little star.”Since that day, everything became harder. My family lost our only provider. We now live with very little—sometimes, we don’t even have enough to eat. I see my mother trying to stay strong for us, but I can feel her pain in silence.Despite everything, I never stopped dreaming. I no longer dream only of becoming an artist. Now, I dream of becoming a doctor—to heal the sick, to ease pain, and to bring hope to those who’ve lost it. I want to continue my father’s path, in my own way.Today, I’m writing to ask you to help my family. Not just for food or medicine—but so I can continue my studies, live, and chase my dream.Every donation, no matter how small, is a light on my path.You are the hope… and I am “the little star” that refuses to fade.Please help me fulfill my dream… and shine light back into this world.
