She has endured through the loss of her husband and one of her sons, with her home and car being reduced to rubble, surviving day by day living in a tent with 2 of her children Shima & Qusay.

Shima describes her Mum as the glue of their family, and says that she is their world. A kind and loving woman who has protected her children fiercely through terrible times.

Khadra suffers with high blood pressure and diabetes, for which she required regular medication which has become extremely expensive since aid and supply have been blocked from entering Gaza. Over the last year, while shifting from shelter to shelter to avoid the constant bombardment in Gaza, she developed a lump on her back. The daily struggles to survive took precedence, but since the ceasefire has taken place, she has had some time to seek medical advice and has had tests that have revealed the lump is a cancerous tumour.

There are very few operational hospitals left in Gaza, and none that are able to remove the cancer, so in order to receive this treatment, she must travel outside of Palestine.

The costs for anyone to cross boarders into neighbouring countries is at least $5000 AUD per person. Khadra’s daughter Shima would travel with her to support and care for her.

In addition to fees to cross the boarder, they will need money for transport, accommodation, food, and the medical treatment itself.

The total amount required is in excess of $50,000 USD ($78,500 AUD) but they’re aiming for this as their starting target so that they can travel as soon as possible.

Khadra’s family are quite conservative and the women choose not to show their faces on social media, so this is why all of the photos of Khadra & Shima are somewhat censored. Qusay, Khadra’s son is visible in the photos.

I have had multiple video calls with them and can confirm I have seen Khadra’s tumor on her back, and have seen hers and her daughter Shima’s lovely faces.

All funds donated will be transferred by me to Shima’s account, for them to pay for immediate pain and cancer medication, healthy food and clean water, as well as travel across the boarder as soon as it opens again, and and of course surgical related costs.

The people of Palestine are facing the most awful circumstances, having to find finances for cancer treatment on top of basic survival needs is just so far out of reach for this family.

Please help the Al-Louh family get lifesaving cancer treatment for their Mum, so they can keep the glue of their family alive.

Hello wonderful supporters,

Last week we were able to pay for Khadra’s 1st high intensity chemotherapy dose, thanks to all of your support & generosity – thank you.

However there are 3 more doses to pay for to try and prevent Khadra’s arm from being amputated, or worse.

If you are able to share this campaign to your own networks, that would make a big impact.

Thanks again for supporting this beautiful family.

The difficulties in receiving regular chemotherapy in a war zone have resulted in Khadra’s cancer spreading to her arm.

The doctors have concluded that she needs immediate high doses of chemotherapy to blast the cancer and save her life.

She needs 4 doses immediately, costing $2000 US each, so a total of $8000 US right now.

If you can help by donating even a small amount, or by amplifying and sharing this campaign, it would mean the world to Khadra and her son Qusay and daughter Shima.

In the past week, the ceasefire was broken by the occupiers, bombing neighbourhoods and rendering the few remaining hospitals inoperable.

Khadra had been receiving chemotherapy at the Turkish Friendship hospital, with the need to travel to have the tumor operated on, but now she cannot any treatment in Gaza.

Immediately, Khadra needs to purchase a medical mattress to take the pressure off the tumor on her back, as they are sleeping on the ground.

Curreny the borders to neighbouring countries are closed, but the family must raise enough money to be ready to travel and pay for accommodation as soon as they open, so that Khadra can recieve life-saving medical treatment in the form of chemotherapy as well as surgery.

Please help by donating or sharing this campaign.
