Hi all,

My name is Courtney. For the past year I have been involved in mutual aid support; in addition to helping families with young children and infants with financial security using a donations-based crowdfunding model. Funds that are raised help afford families the ability to purchase basic living essentials and baby care needs that continue to be difficult to find despite a ceasefire agreement. Market products continue to be very costly as ample aid has not yet been readily accessible.

Introducing Diana, her husband, and her sons Amr, Muhammed, & Adam. Amr is Diana’s eldest son. During the conflict, Amr was displaced in the Northern region of Gaza while Diana was displaced in the south with Muhammed and Adam. Muhammed is Diana’s second son. He is just 3 years old. Diana’s newest family addtion is baby Adam who has just turned 1.

Amist navigating life during conflict while facing food, formula, and diaper insecurity; Adam was often sick and limited medical resources and treatment options left Diana incredibly overwhelmed. Diana and her family have recently suffered a devastating loss. Amr, her eldest son who remained displaced in the North was killed. Diana and her husand have lost their home, lived through insecurities of basic living essentials such as food, clean drinking water, and baby formula, and the loss of their eldest son has left the family traumatized.

Diana and the whole of her community has lived through a devastating experience. All funds raised for Diana, her husband, Muhammed, & Adam will help them afford basic living necessities such as food, water, warm clothing, and toddler/ baby care essentials for Muhammed and Adam.
