Hello. My name is Amanda from the United States and I am working with my brothers Nurse Hammam, Nurse Yasser and Nurse Khalil to create the mission of HOPE Gaza.

In Gaza, the medical needs of displaced individuals are urgent and multifaceted. The frequent breakdown of healthcare infrastructure due to conflict, along with a shortage of medical supplies and trained personnel, leaves many displaced individuals vulnerable.

There are so many various medical needs within Gaza; however, infectious diseases, including respiratory infections and waterborne diseases, spread rapidly in overcrowded conditions, making preventive care and public health initiatives critical.

This is where HOPE Gaza comes in! HOPE Gaza wants to provide:

•Lectures about infectious diseases, how to prevent spreading diseases, wearing masks, washing hands and so on.

•Observe medical needs in an area, provide basic medical treatment and also hand out basic medical equipment.

•Through the support of Al-Shamroa, we can also purchase and distribute milk and diapers for babies.

By preventing disease, reducing healthcare costs, and empowering communities to take control of their health, preventative care not only saves lives but also helps build a foundation for long-term health improvements. In such crisis situations, preventing illness before it starts is often more effective and sustainable than responding to illness once it has taken hold.

Through your continued support, HOPE Gaza will be able to provide much needed preventative care so that things like illness are the least of these families worries.

I am the organizer of this campaign and can provide receipts of delivery at any time. The donations go from ChuffedSite to a bank account set up for HOPE Gaza and will be wired directly to Hammam for use. We will be keeping you up to date monthly with pictures of the team on the ground providing this work.
