In solidarity with Ukraine and its sovereignty on the Independence Day of Ukraine the collective of artists based between Kyiv and Berlin – Progressive Movement releases its first short film to provoke intellectual and critical dialogue around the established political system in Russia. They want to evoke a need for solidarity and continuous support of Ukrainian people, their human rights and all other people suffering from the cruel and appaling war in order to end aggression, injustice and outmoded hunger for imperialism of Vladimir Putin and his allies.

By spreading the word and raising awareness around the issue they hope to lift up the vail around decades of soviet propaganda, awaken deluded minds of war supporters and criticize excessive territorial claims convicted by the United Nations under international law. In their artistic work Progressive Movement is looking critically at the political course the aggressor has chosen. Will there ever be peace under forced russian control? Or will it make Russia a condemned outsider for the decades to come and Russian people responsible for the deeds of their leader? What future are we yet to create?

If you feel like you are resonating with the topic and willing to make your contribution, we have launched a crowdfunding campaign along with the short film release.

All the collected funds will be transparently donated to our friends and their trustworthy non-profit organisations in order to support Ukrainian people in need and help ending the Russian aggression. Links are below:
