The Garvis Centre is a medical facility in Dnipro, Ukraine. In peace-time, it is a specialist facility for the treament of patients with gastric problems and pre-cancerous conditions. However, due to the current conflict , it has had to re-focus on those presenting traumatic injuries – bullet and shrapnel wounds – and cope with a great many internal refugees fleeing from devastated areas to the relative safety of Dnipro. The Garvis Centre urgently needs funds to buy new equipment in order to fulfill its new role .

Funds raised will ,in addition, meet the costs of extra stafffing and the running of First Aid programmes for the general public. Also, it is anticipated that extra beds , rooms, and operating areas may be required should the fighting become more intense and widespread in the near future.

Please consider giving what you can to the Garvis Medical centre and the brave and dedicated Staff who are still working there at considerable risk to their own safety.
