My name is Aariah James, I started my journey to becoming myself a couple of years ago when I was finally able to admit who I really was. This was a very difficult choice I chose to make. I had to worry about losing my family, friends, job, etc… but I knew this was the only way I could go on living my life. I found an amazing Dr. who was able to assist me going forward with HRT ( hormonal replacement therapy ), which has had remarkable effects on my state of mind and physical appearance so far.

Sadly as far as I have come with HRT and my transition, I still have dysphoria with a lot of my facial features. As much as HRT has helped me, it will not correct the effects that testosterone had on my body during puberty. Unfortunately the only way to correct those effects are through FFS ( Facial Feminization Surgery ), which is not covered through any insurance providers.

I’m starting this fundraiser to help raise funds for this very costly corrective surgery. This surgery will help correct the masculine facial features that manifested during puberty, since HRT was not available to me at a younger age.

I’m looking to raise $20,000 that will go towards the costs that I have been quoted for this surgery. All of your donations will be going directly to covering these expenses.
