Benefiting: Katrina’s Wing (Lighthouse Church Kingdom Kids Ministry) and Fanconi Anemia Research Fund.

Background and Story: Both my children Katrina and Jared are afflicted with Fanconi Anemia, a very rare genetic anomaly that predisposes them to cancers. Seven years ago, on August 30, 2011, my daughter succumbed to the harsh treatments from leukemia and bone marrow transplantation. There is still no cure for Fanconi Anemia. Our hope is that through awareness and fundraising to support research, we will find cure for this disease. Currently there are only handful cases of Fanconi Anemia; 1500 out of 6 billion people. We believe it’s commonly misdiagnosed as we were misdiagnosed for almost 3 years. For more info about Fanconi Anemia visit www.Fanconi.org.
