Helambu, Nepal has had its fair share of tragedy. In 2015 the earth rumbled significantly in this region. The damage from the powerful earthquake caused a large health post in Chitre region that serves over 5000 rural residents fell to a pile of rubble in a matter of seconds. The aftermath was devastation and ultimately led to communities not having access to basic needs such as shelter and basic healthcare. “The Wild Medic Project” assists these regions by regularly sending medics to setup and run remote health clinics and educational programs for the local population.

Although we are bringing medical assistance to the hills of Nepal, we have earmarked plenty of infrastructure projects like toilet blocks & community shade shelters. We also need to roll out specialist local medical teams like dentists and optomologists. Without these basic facilities, the locals remain in a vulnerable state hours from medical assistance if required.

We have the right connections to make this happen by employing locals in important roles. We just need help from you to fund these projects and here’s where you come in. Every dollar goes towards the highest priority project that has been planned by our planning co-ordinators. This includes assisting with purchasing critical medication for our clinics and building infrastructure that these communities desperately need.
