Hey, I’m Anna Du Ve, a qualified Shiatsu Therapist and an embodied Open Floor Conscious Dancer.

The worlds of Shiatsu and Conscious Dance are both rooted in embodied movement – deep listening to our bodies.

My social cause is my project of Dance-Shiatsu fusion. These holistic movement practises facilitate health, wellness, balance & emotional resilience in the bodies and minds of individual and community.

I have a vision of bringing these two passions together to create an Open Floor dance style which is informed by my knowledge of Shiatsu as a movement therapy.

Open Floor International have offered me a place in their Dance teacher training at the end of May 2018- in Montpellier, France.

The continuation of this training would enable me to bring together these movement practises and facilitate embodied movement, emotional release and transformation through Open Floor dance infused with Shiatsu knowledge.

I have already secured my place in the training, however, I need help generating the final funds that will enable me to undertake the next chapter of my Open Floor dance journey in France!

If I am unable to attend this training – I will not be able to continue my Open Floor dance training for 3 years – which would prevent me from following this passion of facilitating Shiatsu-infused dance workshops for the community of Melbourne. I see and feel so much benefit in the fusion of these beautiful holistic practises which compliment each other with such ease.

So my plan is, to give Shiatsu treatments and hold Shiatsu infused Open Floor conscious dance workshops for you, your friends, loved ones and community to feel the goodness in this movement medicine, in return for your support.

These practises facilitate health, wellness and balance, within the body mind and soul. I believe in the nourishing capacity of inhabiting our bodies, deeply listening to them, and responding, with Dance-movement, or movement-based Shiatsu.

The more we embody, the better we can respond to the manic energy of this world with emotional resiliance and self-awareness arrived at so simply through these mindful movement therapies.

I am aiming to generate $5000 in total, through sharing my skills in Shiatsu and Open Floor Conscious Dance facilitation.
