We believe that everyone deserves good vision and eye health, no matter where you are in the world, or who you are.

The people of the Himalayas cannot access eye care due to geographical and financial barriers. Anyone who wears glasses understands this can be a huge barrier for education and vocation.

We at Eyes4Everest have formed 3 teams of volunteers who will deliver primary eye care along the Everest Base Camp track, Gokyo Ri track, and Annapurna Base Camp track.

Our first trip was in 2014, and the locals welcomed us back in 2015, and 2016. This year, they’ve asked us to add an additional clinic. So we need more equipment.

We need help to fundraise:

Trial lens sets $500 x 2 Charts $200 Fundus camera $8900 + GST = $9790 Slit lamp $8900 + GST = $9790 App creation $500

Overall costs amount to $21 700 for equipment only (not incl. glasses & medication)

So, let’s aim for $25 000
