This GoFundMe was created for my sister, Savoeut Sath, who has been facing an unimaginable hardship. Her husband, Bryan, was hospitalized on Friday, August 22nd, after suffering a seizure and a ruptured aneurysm. He remained in a coma for about a week, during which time he underwent four emergency surgeries: EVD placement, aneurysm clipping, thrombectomy, and hemicraniectomy. On August 26th, doctors had to remove a portion of his skull to relieve dangerous pressure in his brain. Throughout his fight, Bryan was on IV support and breathing tubes as his condition was closely monitored. In addition to these challenges, Bryan was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease, which doctors believe contributed to his aneurysm. His family also learned that he had kidney cysts, causing further complications and kidney failure. Bryan was not only a devoted husband but also a loving father of two and the sole provider for his family. Update: With broken hearts, we share that Bryan passed away on Monday, September 2nd, at 6:58 a.m. Our family is devastated beyond words. We are now raising funds to help Savoeut and her children during this incredibly painful time. Donations will go directly toward Bryan’s medical expenses, funeral arrangements, and support for his children as they navigate life without their father.
