Help Support Johnny & Lori Lopez in Their Fight Against Cancer Our dear friend Lori Davis Lopez and her husband Johnny Lopez are facing one of the hardest battles of their lives. Johnny has recently been diagnosed with high grade urothelial carcinoma that spread to kidney. If you know Lori and Johnny, you know that they are the type of people who never hesitate to show up for others. For years, they have opened their hearts and gone out of their way to help anyone in need—friends, family, and even strangers. They’ve raised their beautiful children with those same values of kindness, generosity, and compassion. Truly, the Lopez family are angels here on earth. Sadly, this amazing family has endured more heartbreak than anyone should ever have to face—losing a child, saying goodbye to beloved parents to COVID, and even a devastating family tragedy. And now, they are once again being asked to walk through another storm as Johnny begins aggressive treatment for cancer. The road ahead will be incredibly difficult, not only emotionally and physically but also financially. Between overwhelming medical bills and the countless trips back and forth from South Jersey to Philadelphia for treatment, the burden will be heavy. We, Lori’s high school friends, feel helpless watching them face yet another painful chapter, and we want to do what they have always done for others: show up with love and support. Our hope is to ease some of the financial strain so they can focus fully on what matters most—Johnny’s health and healing.
