Help Support Brandon Fitzsimmons’ Recovery Journey. I’m reaching out as a parent from the Sycamore School community, where my daughter was deeply inspired by her love for the Spanish language—thanks in no small part to the incredible support and encouragement of Brandon “Profe” Fitzsimmons. On Friday, July 11th, Brandon was involved in a devastating accident in which a motorcyclist, going full-speed in the wrong direction on I-69 southbound, struck him head-on. This occurred early in the morning as Brandon was on his way to the airport to join his Sycamore students for the annual summer Ecuador trip. The impact took the teaching opportunity from him, destroyed his automobile, and caused significant physical and psychological trauma. While he is now on the road to recovery, the journey ahead is long, complex, and costly. Brandon has always been a source of light and compassion for our children—bringing language to life, fostering curiosity, and showing up with kindness and patience every single day. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him. We are setting up this GoFundMe to help ease the burden of his medical bills and ongoing care. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help Brandon focus on healing without the added stress of financial strain.
