Her family—mom Alicia, dad Jesse, and siblings Mila and Noah—are now facing the fight of their lives as doctors work to determine the exact type of leukemia she has. The days leading up to her diagnosis were filled with worry. Alyvia had been losing weight, sleeping much more than usual, and developed petechiae on her neck. These signs made it clear that she needed urgent medical attention. Now, Alyvia is beginning her treatment journey, and her parents are staying by her side in the hospital for at least two weeks. With both Alicia and Jesse unable to work during this critical time, the family is facing mounting bills, household expenses, and the challenge of caring for Mila and Noah while supporting Alyvia through chemotherapy.
