I’m raising funds to help provide the best medical care for my two dogs, Trooper and Bella. Trooper has Dilated Cardiomyopathy, Congestive Heart Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension, and really bad knees that require him to do monthly physical therapy. I adopted Bella less than a month ago and she’s had two ear infections, a UTI, and her knees seem painful. She’s going to be having TPLO surgery on September 8. I was reluctant to ask friends and family for help, but this summer has been rough. My homeowner’s insurance required me to replace my roof even though it was in good shape. The day after getting the new roof, my car was stolen. It was fortunately recovered; however, I went through a severe trauma 33 years ago and have dealt with PTSD since. Every time I saw that car that was stolen, it triggered flashbacks to the original trauma. I was having all the nightmares again and had to repeatedly get up throughout the night to check the locks on my windows and doors. Because of that, I did get a new car. But, with Trooper’s worsening health and with Bella needing surgery (approx. $7000), I decided to ask for some help. Even a small amount is greatly appreciated. It’s hard for me to ask for help, but my emergency fund that I put money into every month has run dry. My main priority is making sure Trooper and Bella get all the care they need. I will get by no matter what, but one source of income has been cut off due to a health condition and I don’t want to risk my disability, which provides my health insurance, by trying to find a part-time job. I’ve always tried to support my friends and family in their times of need. I hate to ask, but would appreciate any amount. Thank you.
