Help Support Cortny through Her Health Battle Cortny has been fighting health challenges since she was very young, and over the past decade they’ve only worsened—bringing with them thousands upon thousands of medical bills. She has been bravely living with gastroparesis, Lyme disease, and Hashimoto’s, conditions that cause daily pain, fatigue, and financial strain. Right now, she’s in the hospital after experiencing unbearable pain and hardly any answers. Her gallbladder is functioning at only 8% , extremely inflamed and must be removed. She will undergo surgery tomorrow. On top of that, she is dealing with gastritis, and doctors aren’t even sure gallbladder removal will fully resolve her pain. She faces a difficult recovery and an unknown road ahead, with many follow-up appointments and lifelong management of her conditions. She has been hospitalized for a week and will continue to be for some time. Through all of this, she has remained the most hardworking and giving person. She’s an active nature loving mom of 3 who still manages to give 110% in everything she does despite nearly constant sickness and fatigue. But now it’s her turn to receive support. She will be missing significant work during this time, and the weight of medical bills is the last thing she should have to worry about while focusing on healing. Anything you can give—big or small—will help ease the financial stress and show her that she doesn’t have to fight this alone. She’s stubborn and would never ask for help herself, but she truly deserves it. She deserves her life back instead of so much of it constantly being robbed by pain and sickness.
