My name is Carrie and I am trying to raise funds for my husband, Manuel “Manny” Sanchez AKA “The Rooster”. On 8/24/25, Manny had a stroke that he is very lucky to have survived. An inch-long blood clot almost took him out. While he has made remarkable progress, he needs 3-6 months of physical and occupational therapy to help him fully recover. Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover this. Manny had a 25+ year career in law enforcement, mainly with the Comal County Sheriff Department. A year ago, he retired, and he and I started our own business, Pink Flamingo Estate Sales. We have conducted 25+ amazing sales this year. Friends and clients alike love my husband. My husband has never met a stranger; he has a wicked funny sense of humor! After a stroke, this therapy is so important to help him return to normal.
