Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for someone who means the world to me. My brother, Edward, who is 34 years old, was recently diagnosed with cancer. While he’s facing this battle with incredible courage, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Edward is not only my older brother, but also a loving father to his 11 year old daughter, a devoted protector of our family, and one of the most caring and creative souls I know. He’s always put others before himself, lifting us and encouraging us to chase our dreams, even when he was quietly struggling. A talented artist, he finds peace and purpose in painting and creating art. It’s a passion that has helped him cope through the hardest days, but cancer doesn’t just attack the body and mind. It has also brought financial devastation. Despite having insurance, he has had to rely on credit cards to cover medical treatments, daily living expenses, and now he’s fighting a legal battle over the debt that has piled up. Thankfully, he was able to undergo surgery to remove the tumor, but his journey is far from over. He still has ongoing appointments, treatments, and growing expenses. No one should have to choose between fighting for their life and staying financially afloat. We are trying to raise $50,000 to help relieve the weight of medical debt, cover daily living costs, and give him the breathing room to focus on healing and being present in life.
