Dear Friends, Family and Supportive Community, We are Kelli’s family, reaching out because so many of you have asked the same question: “How can we help?” For those who may not know her full story, we want to share it and invite you to be part of her team. Kelli is an incredible wife, mom, sister, daughter and therapist. She has spent her life caring for others with compassion, humor and fierce determination. She’s the mom cheering loudest at her kids’ activities, laughing the hardest at family game nights and reminding us all that joy is worth fighting for. Now, she needs us to fight for her. This is Kelli’s third battle with tongue cancer. Her first fight was 15 years ago. In November 2024, the cancer returned. After a major surgery in March 2025, our family celebrated when doctors declared her “cancer free.” But just weeks later, the unthinkable happened, the cancer has returned aggressively, less than four months later. This past week, Kelli met with one of the top medical teams in the country at City of Hope. She will begin out-of-state treatment next week. Doctors anticipate a year or more of intensive treatment and rehabilitation, beginning with chemotherapy this next week. The impact has been enormous emotionally, physically and financially. Kelli has been unable to work since February. Kelli’s husband Philip is balancing work and keeping life steady in Las Vegas for their two kids. They are strong, but like any children, they just want their mom healthy and present. Your generosity will directly help with: Medical bills and insurance deductibles- costs not covered by their plan (new deductible will start over in January) Specialized nutrition- feeding tube shakes and supplies costing several hundred dollars each month Travel and lodging for out-of-state treatment- (hotel and gas to and from the hospital during treatment and care) Daily living expenses- while Kelli is unable to work Resources for healing- such as counseling, rehabilitation, and supportive care If you can’t give financially, your prayers, encouragement, and help sharing this page are powerful ways to stand with Kelli and her family.
