Help Our Grandmother Fight Bile Duct Cancer Dear friends, family, and kind hearted people, I am wriing on behalf of my beloved grandmother, who is 71 years old and is currently fighting stage 4 bile duct cancer. This diagnosis, unbelievable and devastating, came as a shock just a few months ago. She has always been full of love, life, and great resilience, and even during this hard time she remains in great spirits despite the difficult and rocky road ahead. My grandmother moved here in 2018 from Moscow, Russia to be close to family. Since then, she had been the heart of our home – bringing wisdom, kindness, and warmth to everyone around her. Unfortunately, her treatment journey is already proving to be quite challenging. Chemotherapy may not be effective for her, and our family is now looking into clinical research studies as the next hope. One of the most promising opportunities is being offered at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, a world renowned facility for research and treatment of cancer. Traveling, lodging, medical costs and expenses tied to this are looking to be overwhelming for us. We are humbly asking for your help.
