My little sister, Teylor, recently welcomed her first baby, Odie, much earlier than anyone expected. He surprised us all by arriving at just 30 weeks, weighing only 3 pounds 5 ounces. Right now, he’s in the NICU in San Antonio, showing so much strength for such a tiny little guy. Teylor and Odie’s dad, Ryan, are by his side every single day, giving him the love and care he needs. As an ICU nurse herself, she’s spent years helping other families through their hardest and happiest moments — and now she’s facing her own. Since she doesn’t get paid maternity leave or qualify for FMLA, this has put a huge financial strain on them. Between medical bills, living expenses in San Antonio, and the cost of just being away from home, it’s a lot for them to carry. We want Teylor annd Ryan’s only focus right now to be on Odie and his recovery, not on worrying about how to make ends meet. Any support — whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing this fundraiser — will mean the world to our family. Thank you for lifting them up during this challenging time.
