Welcome to Marlow and Nancy’s gofundme. I’m a long-time friend of theirs, and I’m helping them by setting up this page. As you probably know, in fall 2023 Marlow was diagnosed with lung cancer. She has been undergoing treatment for about two years. Marlow is a brave fighter, always positive in her outlook—if you’re friends with her on Facebook, you’ve seen her beautiful uplifting posts and photographs. Nancy has supported her in every possible way. Although the cancer is being managed as best it can be, it has taken a toll on Marlow’s body. A recent hospitalization especially depleted her, and I’m sad to update you that she has just chosen to enter hospice this week. She’s at home in a hospital bed, sleeping a lot and still eating and drinking, but very weak. We will post updates regularly on Marlow’s Caring Bridge (https://www.caringbridge.org/site/2708ab8c-8350-11f0-a903-f93eee8ab9d0) so you know how she’s doing. Many of you have helped enormously over these past years. More people have reached out to ask how they can help make it easier now. This gofundme has been set up to donate to Marlow and Nancy.
