UPDATE 8/5/25- Thank you all so much for the love and help so far! With your generosity we are able to pay my father’s mortgage for almost 3 months! Dad’s Oncologist is confident that once he starts immunotherapy that he will begin improving and turning around. It’s nice to get some good news. We also got a call that additional in home care is available which is massively helpful as dad can’t really do anything for himself right now. July 12th 2025 my father , Chuck Sullivan, was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma infecting his lymph node. In just a few short weeks he has gone from living alone independently to not being able to walk, or have the strength to lift himself up. With the decline of strength comes the inability to continue working- he had been managing my sisters Acupuncture clinic- Carolina Family Acupuncture. My father is 79 years young and had always been very health focused, so news of cancer has been very shocking to us all. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War as a jet mechanic. His VA benefits are helpful but not enough to continue paying his mortgage, bills and the new found debts we are still working to uncover. Any help is appreciated during this time. It’s absolutely not lost on me how much everyone is struggling financially, or how many folks have to resort to GoFundMe for help overcoming obstacles. Even a share would be very meaningful to us.
