This news has come as a shock to all of us who know and love Gregg, someone who has given so much of himself to our team, our guests, and the craft beer community over the years. Gregg has been a fixture in the Austin beer community, and a dedicated part of The Brewtorium family for over 7 years. Whether it’s staying late to help his coworkers, treating guests with warmth and patience, or simply being the person we all turn to when we need a smile, Gregg has always shown up with heart, kindness, and his unforgettably infectious laugh. He’s the kind of person who remembers your name, your favorite beer, and probably a story you told him six months ago. Gregg is now facing a difficult journey that includes multiple surgeries and a long recovery. He’s approaching this challenge with the same strength, humor, and grace that we’ve all come to love, the road ahead will take a toll, physically, emotionally, and financially. While Gregg is thankfully covered by health insurance through The Brewtorium, there are still significant out-of-pocket expenses, including deductibles, any uncovered treatments, and basic living costs during his extended time away from work. As you can imagine, the financial burden is heavy. It’s our turn to remember everything he’s given to this community, and give something back.
