Story
On May 14th in Pinehurst, NC, 38-year-old Sarah Kirkley, daughter of Robert and Cindy Kirkley from Carolina Orchards on Plum Street in Fort Mill, SC, was hit head-on by a drunk driver in a Ford F-150 while driving her Honda Civic.
Miraculously, Sarah survived —she sustained no upper body or head injuries, but her lower body was severely damaged, including multiple fractures in both feet, both knees, her left hip, right wrist and arm, sternum, tailbone, and lower spine.
Sarah is currently receiving care at UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center and yesterday had her 4th surgery , with more expected in the coming weeks. Her road to recovery will be long, painful, and emotionally taxing. She will need extended rehabilitation, physical therapy, and support to regain mobility and independence.
We are asking for your help to raise $40,000 to assist Sarah and her family with uncovered medical costs, recovery-related expenses, and daily living needs during this incredibly difficult time.
Whether you choose to give openly or anonymously, every donation is deeply appreciated. Most importantly, we thank you for keeping Sarah in your thoughts and prayers.
With gratitude,
Robert Rosati
